Horrible! I’ll start by saying that I never write reviews. My family of 7 just went for dinner and each one of us agreed that the food is really really bad. I had the chicken Alfredo and it was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever eaten. On top of that our waitress was extremely rude and should choose a different profession. She literally fought with me over a discrepancy with the check, ripped it out of my hands. Trust me, STAY AWAY!!

Food and service were excellent. Very clean and customers are not crammed in. A little expensive but well worth it.

Went there for the first time ever food was ok the worst part was I paid the bill as we were leaving the girl that was waiting on us came up and said the tip I left wasn't 10 % mind u I left a 10$ tip never going back there again

The Ridge Terrace is a family owned and operated restaurant just South of beautiful Lake George NY. Excellent food, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient staff and gorgeous Adirondack log architecture. The Rios family is well known and highly regarded in the region for their craft and for their ability to make even first time guests feel like family. An absolute must when visiting the Adirondacks/Lake George area!!

Great food, excellent service. The duck and steak were done perfectly. The bread and salads served before the meal were delicious, desserts awesome.

This is a nice restaurant out of the way. I ordered duck and it wasn't too good. The appetizers were awesome. My girlfriend ordered chicken and I would not go there again.

50 years ago my parents held their wedding reception here, what better way to celebrate their Golden Anniversary, then to return to where it began! The food and staff were outstanding. Guests are still calling me raving about the food and thanking me for including them in such a wonderful party. A big thank you to the staff for helping us create another wonderful family memory ❤️

Great place to eat. Call ahead for reservations, folks drive over from Vermont, so there can be a wait. Chef does a great job. Service is excellent. Never disappointed. Open high season only.

Service was good,food came quickly.Veal a la Raymond excellent,had some to take home !! Shrimp Alfredo so/so. Would definitely go again.

Good food great service

Food was fresh... Scampi, shrimp, steak, burger, but the sauce was either drowning or much too sweet. Not as pleasurable as we thought. Wine list was good.

Always a fun retro treat this was one of my dads favorite destinations in lake George. Love that relish tray;)

I am cousins and family with almost everyone in the kitchen and the family reunion food is the best, even the normal food of course... yeah. Their ribs, spaghetti, steak, and etc. you hear it all the time but everything there is good.

Best waitress ever. Food was delicious, atmosphere beautiful, worth the drive.

I had a lovely dinner with my partner here when we were visiting from out of town. The log cabin atmosphere was cozy, but still classy. We both ordered the chateaubriand, and we were not disappointed! We also had a bottle of wine, which the restaurant was able to reseal for us to take home when we didn't finish it. The location is certainly a bit out of the way, but it was worth the journey, and I still had enough cell signal to get an Uber back after dinner.

Went to the Ridge Terrace on 25 July 2020. Very pleasantly surprised. Had not been here in over 10 years and was somewhat reluctant to go, glad I did. Had the Queen cut Prime Rib and it was outstanding. Cooked perfectly, loaded with flavor and coupled with great service provided by Kristy it was agreat night out. We will definitely be back.

Always a fine meal. I like off season so much better: availability, noise, personalized service, more kicked back.

This is one of a very few restaurants that when I leave, I don't say "The meal was good, but I could make it better at home." Every meal that I have had here exceeded my expectations in quality, taste and presentatio.

Restaurant done right. From the immaculate grounds, to the excellent service and unbelievably delicious food the Ridge is the best. Been going there for 46 years that I am sure of! We have never found a better dining experience.

In the middle of nowhere and hasn't been updated in clearly decades including the menu. The only thing they make here that is good. ..and REAL good is the filet surrounded by mashed potatoes. It melts in your mouth. But...considering I'm a vegetarian, I found my meal less than worth going back for. Very dark inside, I'm not that old and I could barely read the menu it was so dark. I'd pass.

Nice place. Decent food. Friendly service and probably the best coleslaw you'll ever eat. It is included as a free appetizer by the way along with potatoes salad and a bean salad as well. The wine list could be much better. But it's a nice Adirondack Log building.

The food was good but it's overcrowded and very noisy. Hard to hear anyone at our own table! The dining rooms are large and the tables very close together.

Never coming back. Worst service I have ever received. My family and I went out to get belittled for 125$. Server had a chip on her shoulder and was very slow to bring us drinks. 20 mins for a beer... than the food. Never order anything from that kitchen. Cooks look dirty and the food tastes similar.For 28 dollars for chicken parm I would expect to enjoy it, but when we told them that both chicken Parms tasted bad they told us that is how they have done them for 47 years and wouldn’t do anything about it other than remind us how long they have been serving this horrid food.I hope the little witch that talked to us reads this. I would love to see them loss business for the terrible attitudes. I understand bad food, remake it or offer something else, but the looks and comments we got from the server and manager killed us. Never going back and letting everyone know that they are horrible people.

Great food a place to eat if you're in Lake George

Ridge terrace is always good. Tonight was their first time open in months and it did not disappoint. Our server, Cate, went above and beyond, using a mask and proper serving techniques to keep us and her safe. She's an excellent server, the food delicious and the restaurant super clean.

It was my first time going. I would recommend going to the Ridge Terrace restaurant. We were there just about when they opened and of coarse seating immediately. The food was fresh and tasty. Our waitresses were very nice and on top of things. They didn't miss a beat. I would definitely go back.

This place is nice but the waitress we had was so rude and disrespectful to us the entire time we were there. When we were leaveing she followed us and mandated us to give her a bigger tip.(our tip was a dollar less then 10%) she told us to give her more. The food was not the best either.we were rushed and our food was taken before we were even finished . This was our first and last time there.

Had a great time with my daughter and soon to be son-in-law, and a great meal, even had a good laugh, things you miss but hear about because you had to go to the restroom 😁😁😁😁😂😀
